Having a healthy working relationship with co-workers feels rewarding, wouldnโt you agree? Once you establish that genuine bond with co-workers, sometimes, working gets a little too easy because the atmosphere at work becomes lighter.
When this happens, itโs safe to assume true friendship comes right after. Your co-worker becomes your best bud not just at your workplace but also outside.
While some form genuine friendship, these two gentlemen found something else.

Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin resident, Nathan Boos has always felt somethingโs missing in his life because all this time, he knows heโs adopted.
โGrowing up I always knew that I was adopted, it just never crossed my mind that I would ever find my parents,โ he told WEAU 13.

Despite living near where he was adopted, Nathan didnโt know who his biological parents were, and neither did his adopted parents, although they knew their identities. The topic wasnโt something they discussed often.
However, one day Nathanโs mom noticed something unusual on social media: Nathan was friends with his biological dad on Facebook!

Nathan was completely unaware of this connection. Upon further investigation, they discovered that Nathanโs dad was a truck driver, just like Nathan. Both were employed by Rock Solid Transport in Chippewa Falls, yet neither knew they were related.

After two years of working together, Nathan finally learned the truth. His father, Bob Degaro, confirmed Nathanโs suspicions and explained the circumstances that led to Nathanโs adoption due to financial struggles and his own shortcomings as a father at the time.

Despite the initial shock, Nathan and Bob both managed to nurture their newfound relationship, even though it felt strange at times. While they didnโt have a traditional father-son bond growing up, theyโre navigating their connection with understanding and patience.
Like father โ like son.

Despite their differences, itโs evident that they share undeniable familial traits, as seen in their mannerisms and speech patterns.
Their story is a testament to the unpredictable and remarkable nature of genetics.

โItโs still kind of a shock. There are days when Iโm not sure what to say or how to act. I mean, he is my son but I mean we didnโt have that father-son relationship growing up and instead met through a work relationship,โ Nathan remarked.
In fact, one online viewer shared her own experience thatโs somehow similar to that of Nathan and Bobโs.

โMy mom was adopted and she never met her biological parents but she did become friends with her biological half sister who was also adopted. I think itโs awesome when family finds each other. Even their mannerisms seem similar! People wrongly assume when you put your child up for adoption you donโt love them but thatโs far from the truth in most cases. My mom always says it takes more love to admit you canโt provide the amount of care needed to raise a child properly and give them up for adoption than selfishly keeping them.โ
Nevertheless, theyโre putting in their best efforts to make their relationship work. Observing them together, the familial connection between them is undeniable!
During an interview, they discussed and elucidated their unique situation, but the video served as undeniable evidence. Their shared mannerisms in the way they stand, walk, and talk clearly demonstrate their genetic bond.
Truly, genes are fascinatingly unpredictable!
