I don't think this could be any more beautiful. I have a whole new respect for the superstar.

“Posty” fans just can’t run out of reasons to love their favorite artist.

A piece of wisdom has been going around saying not to meet your heroes, but for Andrew Schumacher, it was a night he will never forget.

A superfan’s dream

Andrew was celebrating his 21st birthday with his family at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills.

Then it happened.

Being 21 is already special in itself, but he was about to be sent to the moon when he met one of his favorite artists on that same day.

In a viral Tiktok Video, Post Malone is seen approaching Andrew with a big smile.

Andrew, who also has autism, can be seen seated. “Nice to meet you,” Post Malone could be heard saying to the birthday boy.

Nicole, Andrew’s mom, then explains that they’re celebrating her son’s birthday.

And much like most baptisms of adulthood, Andrew was enjoying his own glass of beer, on which the rapper commented.

“Ya?” Post Malone could be heard commenting on Andrew’s first beer. “What kind of beer you get? That’s a tough choice. Not for me but..”

And as the group laughed, Nicole went on to say how important Post Malone is to her son.

“He has autism and knows all of your songs”

Nicole shared her son’s appreciation towards the rapper.

The rapper, popularly known for his song Rockstar and Sunflower, returned the love and shook Andrew’s hand.

“Dude, thank you for listening.”

Post Malone says in the recording, “That’s so sweet and nice to meet you.”

He then gave Andrew a piece of sagely advice and wished him well on his birthday saying, “Have fun dude, but not too much fun”.

Nicole shared that he didn’t know the rapper’s name until Andrew pointed it out to her.

When Post Malone walked into the restaurant, she asked Andrew if he knew who the person was.

Andrew replied with “Austin”, which was the artist’s real name – Austin Richard Post.

“I wasn’t sure if that was his real name until he walked over to our table to introduce himself,” she said to FOX 11.

In fact, Post Malone even introduced himself as Austin when he shook hands with Andrew.

People loved the sincere encounter.

“Working with clients w autism I’m so impressed by Posty’s acknowledgment and conversation with Andrew. Eye contact, the social cues, this is so dope!” said one commenter as quoted by Indy 100.

Indy 100 also shared one comment from a fan who had a good encounter with the rapper as well –

“He has always been this kind. Met him in Weho and bought us a drink & invited us to his first album release party. Humble as heck.”

Post Malone also donated a guitar.

He donated a signed electric guitar, a cream-colored Fender Squier, to raise funds to help children.

The proceeds will go to Camp Hope Utah, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting children and teens who are affected by domestic violence and trauma.

It’s not surprising why his fans love him. Even with his superstar status, the artist never forgets to give back and show love for those around him.
