It’s uncommon to see a deer with a dual-colored coat. These are called piebald deer and they’re not to be confused with albino deer, although both are extremely rare.

Only 1% of deer have this kind of coloring!

Someone doesn’t like the snow.

We couldn’t help but smile at this little cat-shaped spot on the ground where a furball cuddled up to wait out the storm.

Even it’s little footprints are visible.

We immediately thought of Starry Night when we saw this pattern.

We think of Van Gogh as a post-Impressionist painter, but maybe he’s more of a realist than we realized!

We’re not exactly afraid of this forest creature. In fact, it’s kind of cute.

We just don’t think it’s going to be good at playing games.

One ladybug feels like good luck when you see it. But anyone who’s had an infestation knows it feels anything but fortunate.

This one is on its own, but has no spots – we think you get to determine your own luck on that.

Wow, someone really took the time to make something beautiful out of something dirty. Instead of just using their finger to write “wash me,” they made art.

Now it’s going to be really hard to wash off!

Seagulls have every right to exist, of course, we just don’t have to be fond of them.

But a driftwood seagull seems fine.

It’s like a little message from nature – and you can interpret at will.

Sure, it’s just the result of sunlight, but this would certainly catch our eye, even amongst the other beauty of the area.

The phenomenon is known as “alpenglow.’

It’s amazing what beautiful forms nature can create – especially when it comes to ice and snow.

We love this little forest – too bad it has to melt. But it being temporary is part of what makes it special (and photo-worthy!).

Whoa! How freaked out would you be to see a larger (or smaller) version of yourself in the very same outfit somewhere?

These guys could be brothers, but they’re total strangers who encountered each other at a wedding.

We hope they stayed friends!

We wonder how Gotham City is doing without Batman around.

What enemy would have trapped in a tree? Poison Ivy, perhaps?

We admire this guy for going with his desire to have some walking company.

At first, we thought he was on stilts, but he just has some very long legs.

That’s quite a congregation!

And if you look closely, you’ll see that not all ladybugs have spots – so the post above wasn’t so weird after all.

Do people just look one specific way when they sleep on a train?

Or did some triplets take a bus ride together?

It really looks like the Matrix is glitching.

Props to this guy for going the extra mile and not just taking a picture of the freaky carrot but turning it into a hand.

We just hope he didn’t eat it that way – put that on a plate first.

Why do we find this so funny?

Is it the angle? The light?

Seriously, it looks so much like a large stalk of broccoli that we wonder if we need to look more closely at other trees.

No one is happy at the dentist, so why not find humor wherever you can?

It’s such an odd thing to do to hang a photo of your bathroom on the bathroom wall, but…what can we say?

Most of the time, we don’t even like airplane food when it’s free, so we’re not so sure we’d be eager to BUY it.

But we are glad to see that it’s not going to waste entirely during the pandemic. And we’re sure some went to a shelter as well.

Look at this from a few different angles and eventually, you will see Elvis.

What an odd suggestion.

We’ve often tipped 100% during hard times, but never 99% – especially when it would involve making change.

We don’t enjoy when bees land on us, but they’re important creatures so we try to let it slide.

This one is just on the windshield, so it’s all good.

The closest guess was that this is a cordovan bee.

We know sunflowers get huge, but we rarely get to see one get THAT big! (Or maybe we don’t get to see people stand next to them all that often).

They’re such amazing plants.

We really did think someone dropped a giant cigarette at first. Or that maybe it was just installation art.

But it’s not even that interesting.

If this happened to us, we probably wouldn’t have had the good humor to have a plaque made up.

And we also wouldn’t have returned to that dog park to hang it, assuming from then on out that it was bad luck.

But this sure does make us laugh.

We just love that someone had such a mundane workday that they decided to snap a photo of these two water coolers looking like a bride and groom.

Sometimes that’s the most exciting thing to happen all day in an office.

Newfoundlands are huge and delightful dogs. And they’re even more adorable when they’re happily pulling up with your Christmas tree!

What a treat!

Good old Rex is still getting sticks brought to him to this day, even though he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

It makes us sad, but at the same time, it reminds us how wonderful dogs really are.

Have you ever seen a city works project completed on time and under budget? We haven’t.

But we really do appreciate seeing the facts. The city doesn’t really have to meet its goals, but having to post them at least lets us ask more pointed questions.

Wow, well, now we know who comes to visit Iceland.

But we have to admit that it’s such a popular place to visit for people in India! That’s a long trip!

Ice does amazing things. In fact, we’d almost feel sad scraping it off our car.

Luckily, our ubiquitous phones allow us to snap a photo first.

People who go online to make snarky comments about restaurants are the worst (and they NEVER hold themselves accountable for their own bad experience).

But it looks like Danica is just straight-up racist. And we kind of hope she comes back and sees these shirts.

This looks pretty cool – we just want to know if it cut up into nice steaks or fell apart entirely like ours usually does.

We really thought a baby owl had fallen into the grass.

But that’s just a random mushroom.

Don’t you love when people take time to peel their eyes away from a phone to really look at nature?

So what’s the explanation here? A food fight at the gummy vitamin factory between the kid and adult vitamin packagers?

Or does that only kind of look like a bear and it’s really just a smashed fruit vitamin?

Some mysteries may never be solved.

That’s not what we expect to see in someone’s trunk.

And while it might not be earth-shattering, we are curious to know where he’s taking that thing. A contest? A 4-H fair? A pie-maker?

Well, it’s a pretty funky-looking tree, but from the comments we read, it appears to have been build that way from the ground up.

We thought someone co-opted a tree already there.

But it’s not natural, why not make sure the branches cover all of the machine parts?

Love him or hate him (there’s really no in-between), you’ve got to admit that this shadow really does look like a certain former president.

We’re not sure we would have noticed it off the bat, but now we can’t unsee it!

We just see the weirdest things sometimes.

And it really does look like a kitten, which would make us feel extra-bad about smashing it.

It’s just funny that someone decided they needed a photo of it first.

There’s a phenomenon known as a sun dog that creates bright spots on one or both sides of the sun. But this photo isn’t panned back far enough for us to see if thats’ what’s going on.

And the rainbow effect isn’t that common either.

It’s just a little spot of rainbow – and hopefully it bought a little luck to the person who saw it.

Well that certainly looks out-of-place (but festive!).

As someone from a snowy part of the world, it’s hard to remember that snow and Christmas aren’t a combination most people experience.

But this tree looks all alone as well. Maybe the animals decorated.

It’s a cat! It’s a squirrel! No, it’s a….well, it is a squirrel.

Just like the piebald deer above, these creatures are an extremely rare sight.

They’re pretty cute though!

Lizards are great. But this little guy might freak us out a bit since he has a mutation causing him to grow three tails.

We’re sure he’s just as friendly as all of the other lizards though.

At first we thought this couldn’t be functioning as a hearse anymore since there are no curtains. But we were wrong.
